INSTALL UNSIGNED APPLICATIONS IN YOUR SYMBIAN

As you know the former free certificate providers for symbian like opda are no longer providing imei based certificate for your phone.... And the problem is most of the awesome softwares available on internet are unsigned.....   And the sYmbian users are really fed up with this "Certificate error, contact the application supplier"
There are certain softwares like "Hellox" which allows you to install unsigned applications, But the funny thing is that, HellOx is unsigned and need certificate to sign hellox.... :D:D :P

Guys, here is an old, but working trick for installing unsigned applications/softwares in Your symbian phone....

NB: Plz note that, I have tried this trick in Nokia C5-00 and Nokia 5230... It worked perfectly, But When tried with Nokia E66, It didn't worked... So don't blame me if it is not working,   Just give it a try,..  i am pretty sure that it may work with newer symbian phones...







Now i will show you how to do this.....






1. Download The software package  FROM HERE

   This is a zip file,.. extract it to Your memory card.. It contains Two softwares...

2. 1st install  install "Norton Symbian Hack"  accept all warnings.
    Press continue,... And wait till the installation is finished....

3. Open the "Norton Antivirus" from the installed applications..
    Click on options---> Antivirus--->Quarantine list.

4. There You can see 3 files in the quarantine,...  Click options-->
    Restore all






5. Now Exit  norton and goto applicaton manager, And remove "Symnatec symbian hack"

6. Now using a file browser Like X-plore or Y-browser, goto    C:/shared/
    there you can see a folder with name '20000BC...' something like that,,......
    Delete that folder

7. Now install "Rom patcher" From the downloaded package
   NOW YOU ARE READY!!!

WHENEVER YOU NEED TO INSTALL AN UNSIGNED APPLICATION,

8. Open rom patcher,..Press options--> all patches-->Apply

    And install the application You want to install, After installation, disable all patches....
That's all

After applying patches if u r getting two green tick symbol as below, then It's ready to install unsigned softwares...

NOTE: Donot forget to disable the patches after installation,
            When the patches are active, your phone is more vulnerable to threats, so disable it
            and for your phone's safety, don't install applications You don't trust...
